A long-time American favorite, the Chevy S10 compact truck was introduced in 1982, and this first generation was in production until 1993. It was the first compact pickup from any of America’s big three auto producers, with several engine and transmission options added to the initial release.

A second generation was produced from 1994 until 2004 with various modifications, two engine types, and transmission options. Production of the model was discontinued in America in 2004 but continued in Brazil, where a third generation was launched in 2012 with two engine choices.
